One of the reasons I started a business was to practicalize everything I have been reading about businesses, selling and growing them, sometimes it is hard to comprehend the amount of work it takes to build an empire when you only have head-knowledge and have not taken out time to speak with customers or interact with the market.
I started last year, and I have been growing it ever since, however I watched a YouTube video that changed my mind set about selling, making money and building a business. The speaker said that the only reason you are still comfortable is because you can afford to end the year without reaching your goals, you are not scared about not achieving those goals because nothing will happen, you will not be homeless, you would not be publicly ridiculed, absolutely nothing, so you do not mind making your first 100 million at the age of 40 or 50.
This kindled a fresh desire within me, Like apostle Selman would say, there are many keys needed to open different doors and you have to find the key for each door you want to open. There Is a part that hunger has to play in getting wealthy, you have to want it like your life depends on it, especially if you are not from a wealthy background or if you do not have anyone that would catch you when your back falls to the ground.
I sat and thought about it, to realistically make 100m in 90 days, it has to be in an industry I am familiar with and that is Compressed Natural Gas.
My plan is to journal here daily some of the lessons I leant that day or week, or generally, or things I have applied in my business that works or does not work.
I am hoping that this journey produces key clients and partnerships but also help an upcoming entrepreneur see a blueprint that can take him/her from where they are to their first million.
There are days that I would post more than once, and I would simply tag it the same day (Day 1 or Day 2). My biggest fear now is pulling through with what I need to do, especially on workdays as I have a 9-5.
One of the reasons I started my business was to put into practice everything I’d been reading about building, selling, and growing companies. It’s hard to truly comprehend the work required to build something significant when you only have theoretical knowledge—when you haven’t taken the time to speak with customers or interact with the market firsthand.
I started last year and have been growing ever since. However, a YouTube video recently shifted my entire mindset about selling, making money, and building a business. The speaker said something that hit hard: the only reason you’re still comfortable is because you can afford to end the year without reaching your goals. You’re not scared of missing those targets because there are no real consequences—you won’t be homeless, you won’t be publicly ridiculed, nothing will happen. So you don’t mind if you make your first 100 million at 40 or 50.
This ignited something in me. As Apostle Selman says, there are many keys needed to open different doors, and you have to find the right key for each door you want to open. Hunger plays a crucial role in building wealth. You have to want it like your life depends on it—especially if you’re not from a wealthy background or if you don’t have a safety net to catch you when you fall.
I sat with this thought: to realistically make 100 million in 90 days, it has to be in an industry I know well. For me, that’s Compressed Natural Gas.
My plan is to journal here daily about the lessons I’m learning, strategies I’m applying in my business, what works, and what doesn’t. I’m hoping this journey produces key clients and partnerships, but I also want to help aspiring entrepreneurs see a blueprint that can take them from where they are to their first million.
Some days I’ll post multiple times—I’ll simply tag them by the same day (Day 1, Day 2, etc.). My biggest fear right now is following through with what I need to do, especially on workdays since I work a 9-5.
